Our Mission
The Kenya Institute for the Blind (KIB) is a national public institution mandated to empower learners and persons with visual impairment by providing accessible learning materials, rehabilitation services, and innovative assistive technologies.
Established in 1968 and taken over by the Government of Kenya in 2004, KIB has evolved into the country's premier resource centre for accessible education, serving individuals and institutions across all 47 counties.
